Liloan

As written in the map page, there are various dive sites here in Liloan.

Each place has its own characteristic, and the species you may see will differ.

Tell us your interest, and we'll try to accomodate your request as much as possible.

Sand

Many gobbies and strange creatures, this area is probably the favorites of our customers.  You are likely to see dragon sea month (pegasus), sea horse, sand diver, various kinds of gobies, shrimps, and crabs.  Depth up to 10m, average around 5m.  Possible to have very long diving time.

Wall

There's a chance to spot turtles resting at the edge.  Deep down the wall and to bottom, many kinds of gobbies will be found.  Lots of colorful sea slugs as well.  Occassionally, giant snappers and school of fusilier and jacks will swim around.  Shallow area has abundance of shrimp and crabs.  Most normal dive site we go to.

Mud (Silt)

f you identified the unusualness of above photo, this place is for you.  Ribbon gobbies usually are found at the depth deeper than 20m, and we were only able to find them at 40m during Mactan operation.  Here, you see them...only at 3m!  As photo indicates, there are sunlights for leaves to grow.  Muddy areas are for gobbies.  Most synaptid sea cucumber you see here has emperor shrimp living on it.

Ship Wreck

San Juan Ferry rests at the bottom depth of 50m.  Top around 30m.  This ship had sunk while parked in this bay, but for whatever reason the engine room blew up.  No casualties with the accident, so no worries invading someone's resting place.  Big anchor and propellers are still intact.  You'll see lots of fusiliers, jacks, snappers, and batfishes.
